First Purge - not so much fun anymore

When the original Purge movie came out in 2013 we weren’t living with a government that is on the brink of starting a purge. As I sat there watching the movie I had two thoughts. is this the first draft of this movie? this is too close to reality and I need to pay attention more during these movies and use them as a training film for when 45 starts the real purge. Its really scary to think that the way the US government is going lately they might be getting ideas......

Avengers Infinity War review

I was lucky enough to see Avengers Infinity War last night here is my review.   WOW.   Thats it. Go see it. OK THATS all I’m saying.   Go see it.  ...

Star Wars The Last Jedi - SPOILER REVIEW

First just let me say I loved the movie for what it was, it wasn’t the Luke Skywalker story I wanted but I love it for the Luke Skywalker I ended up with and that’s fine. I personally wanted to see a Luke Skywalker being a full fledged Jedi not a grumpy “I don’t wanna be a Jedi” Luke but with that being said I had a great time laughing and crying my way through a VERY Star Wars feeling movie. Sure it has some bloat to it (the whole side mission......

Crowdfunding. NOPE.

I have backed a number of things on crowdfunding sites some were amazing like the Mystery Science Theater 3000 campaign, some not so much…COUGH…eon craptastic non-existent scooter.   Lets talk about the dangers of crowdfunding though, you find this amazing product that is futuristic and life changing and you think hell yeah I will back this whats the worst that will happen?!?! Well for starters the company could just take your money and run, leaving you completely and royally screwed. There is no recourse for getting your money back if this happens......

America's Got Talent live show!

Tonight I attended NBC’s America’s Got Talent at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and it was electric! The audience of over 4000 people cheering , booing and gasping as one. The crew moving huge items like worker ants throughout the live show. The entire show is such a well oiled machine I had to keep reminding myself  that this is live for millions of people! I can’t even imagine what its like for these performers, the pressure they are under and watching the show in the audience you get to see them......

LADY BOSS

Rachel Bloom Co-creator and star of one of my favorite TV shows ever, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, somehow has found the time to write a book (see our earlier post about her) and now a new music video for Vanity Fair in honor of the magazine’s first conference that celebrates female entrepreneurs about the difficulties of being a “lady boss” #LADYBOSS The brilliance and reason I love Rachel Bloom’s work is that she can take a very serious issue in society and through humor bring it to light and maybe educate some people while......
