A touching tribute to Adam West

As the world knows we lost Adam West on June 9th, I didn’t post about it on here because well I was devastated.  He was my Batman, every day growing up I would watch him same bat time same bat channel in re-runs. His portrayal was brilliant, sure it was campy, sure it was shtick but it was entertaining as hell. Last night Los Angeles City Hall did a touching tribute to Adam West. Burt Ward, Jule Newmar, Ralph Garman, Jim Lee,  Mayor Garcetti,  and Adam’s family were there. A bat signal......

Black Panther Trailer

It’s here, our first look at the Black Panther movie and it does not disappoint.   The trailer Starts with Martin Freeman (Everett K Ross from Captain America:Civil War) and Andy Serkis (Ulysses Klaw from Avengers Age of Ultron) Andy if you recall play a smuggler wos been trying to steal Vibranium (you know the metal in Caps’ shield and what Black Panthers suit is made from) Basically the trailer seems to deal with T’Challa(The Black Panther) returning to Wakanda to claim the throne left open since his father was killed in......

Weekly Puddles Brilliance - Katy Perry Firework

Another week and another Puddles cover! As Puddles himself says “I love what this song says. You ARE original. You are one of a kind and I think you are the best. I know that sounds corny. So, I’m corny. We’re in this together.” I can get behind that Puddles!!! I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the full original song before but damn I love this version.          ...

Weekly Puddles Brilliance- Chris Cornell tribute

Another edition of Weekly Puddles brilliance brings us a tear-jerker. Grunge was my time, I just turned 20, music was crap on the radio and the grunge scene happened… one by one my grunge heroes have passed on and Chris Cornell’s death hit me hard. I get it mortality is real and it’s taking my rock gods. Thank you Puddles for this beautiful rendition…and thank you all for making these the most visited weekly posts.    ...

Rey's "parent" Star Wars theory

I have been thinking a lot about who Rey’s parents are/is. Obi Wan was my top choice for awhile but ever since Force Awakens a thought has been nagging at me. If they found Luke’s lightsaber then they probably found Luke’s hand and “they” probably knew it was a Jedi’s hand so they would want to try and clone a Jedi to bring back  then turn them to the dark side. So my guess is Rey’s parent is technically Anakin but ONLY because she is Luke’s clone.   Now I’m sure you......

what's better than Supernatural?

I can say that every year I am surprised that Supernatural keeps going, not because it’s not good (it’s great) but just that they haven’t run out of ideas. Well next season, that’s season 13 for those keeping score at home, Sam and Dean will get a Scooby Doo-esque animated episode according to the upfronts in New York. If you’re a fan like me then you know the oddball comedy episode we get every season are the best. Hands down the funniest, oddest episode (like X-files did before them) and they are......

STAR TREK DISCOVERY - FIRST LOOK TRAILER

I am so happy that my first post for Hollywookiee is a Star Trek post. When the 50th came and went with very little fan fare I was saddened and when Bryan Fuller left Star Trek Discovery and its subsequent delays I was dis-heartened I would ever get a Star Trek TV show again. Today changed all of that, below is the first trailer for Star Trek Discovery and it looks like things have changed since Bryan Fuller’s departure. Originally it was said this was going to be the first Trek......
