The idea of bringing back a show is a great one, the problem is they very rarely get it right. How do you update a show for a new era but keep what fans loved about it? Its just freaking hard, thankfully (judging by the trailer below) Will and Grace doesn’t seem to have this problem. They are back and we can’t wait!...

the bizarre tale of PETSCOP

It starts with PAUL saying ” this is just to prove to you that I’m not lying about the game I found” then the game begins after a little bit things get WEIRD. According to PAUL the game disc came with a note” I walked downstairs and when I got to the bottom instead of proceeding I turned right and became a shadow monster man” The same note also had a cheat code and when PAUL enters it we enter “The Newmaker Plane” A dark seemingly endless hall that leads to a......

WATCH BROCKMIRE.

WATCH BROCKMIRE.

Seriously watch Brockmire on IFC Wednesdays at 10 PM. Its a brilliant comedy by one of my favorite actors Hank Azaria about a drunk baseball announcer down on his luck for a very specific reason, he caught his wife fucking a guy with a strap- on. Look I don’t care about baseball and you don’t have to if you watch this show, Brockmire is just brilliantly funny. It knows how to showcase its incredible actors like Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet. In fact its one of those shows that people will discover......

Agoraphobic Cowboy - why its a must own

When most people think of Rick Moranis they think of the best acting from the best movies of their childhood, he’s been one of my favorite actors for as long as I can remember but he is also one of my favorite singers. Yes you read that right and I’m not just talking about Little Shop of Horrors. In 2005 Rick Moranis released Agoraphobic Cowboy, an album that has been on constant rotation in my playlists since.  Rick Moranis wrote the songs and collected a group of accomplished musicians to make this......

ABC’s The Gong Show is back… The show originally ran from 1976 through 1980 created by and starring Chuck Barris, who sadly passed away earlier this year. The show might be responsible for reality TV, it brought random “regular” people to TV.   The revival produced by Will Arnett has found their host. Arnett   had befriended comedian Tommy Maitland years ago after meeting him at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Wanting to work with the comedian, Arnett tried for years to come up with a something that was suitable and The Gong......

new MST3K review

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is essential to learning whats funny and whats not. You have to experience and then quote ad nauseum Monty Python then usually around High School or college you discover MST3K and realize whats funny and whats not funny (most sticoms=not funny) When they went from Joel to Mike it took me a little time to accept then appreciate him and of course when the mads changed it was awkward at first then again I appreciated the new ones…this leads me to the new MST3K on Netflix with Jonah......

Tribute to Carrie Fisher - STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2017

I am still not over this and don’t know when/if I ever will be. This one hurt, my first love, my first, heroine, my first princess. Carrie Fisher holds a huge place in my heart and I was so crushed when she passed that I couldn’t write about it…even now it’s hard for me to come up with any words befitting how amazing she was and always will be. Sure I should have taken a second to write on here everything she meant to me. I should have struggled through my tears......
