PLANETFEST!

If you live near Pasadena get yo butt to PLANETFEST!!!
Why? Well for one it’s called Planetfest and that’s reason enough but if you really need a second reason how’s this!
On August 5th, at 10:31 pm PDT, NASA will attempt to land Curiosity — a one-ton, six-wheel-drive, nuclear-powered super-laboratory — on the surface of Mars. It is the most scientifically advanced rover ever built. The Curiosity rover hits the Martian atmosphere at 13,000 mph, 154 million miles from Earth. It’s on its own for 7 whole freaking minutes while it makes the most daring landing ever attempted on Mars. This thing is insane and it’s landing on Mars and if you go to Planetfest not only can you watch the landing and oh I don’t know just sit in a freaking rocket ship with BILL NYE!!!
Go to Planetfest and buy your tickets because this is nerdtastically awesomesauce.
